Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using any services provided by TyrePatrol247. By placing a booking, requesting assistance, or registering as a technician through our website, telephone line, or any other communication channel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

Important: TyrePatrol247 is a dispatch service. We connect customers with independent, insured mobile tyre technicians. We do not directly perform any tyre fitting, mechanical, or roadside work. All work is carried out by independent technicians who are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and outcome of their services.

Section 1

About TyrePatrol247

1.1

What We Do

TyrePatrol247 operates as an emergency tyre fitting and roadside assistance dispatch service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our role is to connect customers who need urgent tyre or roadside assistance with the nearest available independent, insured mobile tyre technician.

1.2

What We Are Not

TyrePatrol247 is not a tyre fitting company. We do not directly perform any mechanical work, tyre fitting, puncture repair, roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, or any other physical service on your vehicle. We operate solely as a dispatch intermediary.

1.3

Independent Technicians

All tyre fitting and roadside work is carried out by independent, insured mobile tyre technicians who are not employees, agents, or subcontractors of TyrePatrol247. Each technician operates their own independent business, carries their own public liability insurance, and is solely responsible for the quality, safety, and outcome of all work they perform.

By using TyrePatrol247, you acknowledge and agree that we act solely as a dispatch intermediary connecting you with an independent technician. The contractual relationship for any work performed is between you and the technician directly.

Section 2

Customer Terms

2.1

Dispatch Fee & Payment

When you place a booking through TyrePatrol247, a dispatch fee is required to confirm your request and secure priority dispatch of the nearest available technician. This dispatch fee is collected securely via Stripe at the time of booking.

The dispatch fee is deducted from the technician's final bill for the work carried out. It is not an additional charge on top of the service cost. The remaining balance for the completed work is payable directly to the technician upon completion.

Payment methods accepted on-site vary by technician and may include cash, card, or bank transfer. If you require a specific payment method, please confirm this at the time of booking.

2.2

Pricing & Estimates

All prices displayed on the TyrePatrol247 website or communicated over the telephone are estimates only and do not constitute a fixed or binding price.

Your technician will confirm the exact price before starting any work. You are under no obligation to proceed. No work will begin without your explicit agreement to the confirmed price. If you do not agree to the price, you may decline the service.

Prices may vary depending on factors including tyre size and specification, vehicle type, time of day, location accessibility, and urgency of the callout.

2.3

Response Times

Any response time displayed on our website or communicated during the booking process is an estimate only and is not a guarantee. Actual arrival times may vary depending on technician availability, traffic conditions, weather, and distance to your location.

TyrePatrol247 will always aim to dispatch the nearest available technician as quickly as possible, but we cannot and do not guarantee specific arrival times.

2.4

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If no technician is available within 5 minutes of your booking, your dispatch fee is fully refunded. You will not be charged for a service we cannot provide.

Once a technician has been dispatched and is en route to your location, the dispatch fee is non-refundable, as the technician has committed their time and begun travelling to you.

No-shows by the customer after a technician has been dispatched will be treated as a cancellation and the dispatch fee will not be refunded.

2.5

GPS & Location Accuracy

You must provide an accurate GPS location when placing a booking. Our dispatch system relies on precise location data to match you with the nearest available technician. This includes the correct street address, postcode, or GPS coordinates, along with any relevant landmarks or access instructions.

TyrePatrol247 is not liable for any delays, additional costs, or inability to provide service caused by inaccurate or incomplete location information provided by the customer.

If a technician is unable to locate you due to incorrect information, the original dispatch fee remains non-refundable and a further dispatch fee may apply for rebooking.

2.6

Limitation of Liability

TyrePatrol247 acts solely as a dispatch intermediary. By booking through TyrePatrol247, you acknowledge and agree that all liability for work performed sits with the independent technician and their insurance, not with TyrePatrol247.

TyrePatrol247 is NOT liable for:

  • Any damage caused during tyre fitting, roadside assistance, or any other work carried out by the technician
  • Any injury sustained during or as a result of work carried out by the technician
  • The quality, safety, or outcome of any work performed by the technician
  • Any loss or damage to your vehicle, personal property, or person arising from services provided by the technician
  • The availability of specific tyre sizes, brands, or parts
  • Any delay in arrival beyond the estimated response time
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our dispatch service

All liability for the quality, safety, and outcome of any physical work performed sits with the independent technician and their public liability insurance.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

2.7

Complaints About Work Quality

Customer complaints about the quality of work performed should be directed to the technician in the first instance, as they are the party responsible for the work and hold their own public liability insurance.

TyrePatrol247 will assist in facilitating communication between the customer and the technician where possible, but accepts no liability for the outcome of any work-related dispute.

2.8

Vehicle Ownership & Authorisation

By placing a booking with TyrePatrol247, you confirm that you are the registered owner of the vehicle for which the service is being requested, or that you have obtained full authorisation from the registered owner to arrange work on the vehicle.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is legally roadworthy and that any work requested is consistent with the safe and legal operation of the vehicle.

2.9

Emergency Services Disclaimer

TyrePatrol247 is not a substitute for the emergency services. If you are involved in a road traffic accident, if there is a risk of injury or danger to life, or if you are in an unsafe situation, you must call 999 immediately before contacting TyrePatrol247 or any other roadside assistance provider.

TyrePatrol247 provides a commercial tyre fitting dispatch service only. We do not provide medical assistance, traffic management, or any form of emergency rescue.

Section 3

Technician Terms

3.1

Independent Contractor Status

All technicians registered with TyrePatrol247 operate as independent contractors. Technicians are explicitly NOT employees, workers, agents, or subcontractors of TyrePatrol247.

TyrePatrol247 does not provide employment benefits, holiday pay, pension contributions, sick pay, or any other benefits associated with employment. The relationship between TyrePatrol247 and the technician is that of a platform provider and an independent service provider.

3.2

Insurance Requirements

All technicians must maintain valid public liability insurance with a minimum cover of £1,000,000 (one million pounds) at all times while registered with TyrePatrol247 and receiving jobs through the platform.

Proof of insurance must be provided upon registration and may be requested at any time thereafter. Technicians who fail to maintain valid insurance will be immediately removed from the platform and will not receive job dispatches until proof of valid cover is provided.

3.3

Pricing & Professional Conduct

Technicians must offer competitive and fair pricing to all customers. The exact price must be confirmed clearly with the customer before commencing any work. No work should begin until the customer has agreed to the price.

Technicians must respond to job alerts promptly and arrive within a reasonable timeframe after accepting a job.

Technicians must only accept jobs they have the skills, equipment, and stock to complete. Accepting a job with no intention or ability to fulfil it is a breach of these Terms.

3.4

Dispatch Fee & Technician Payment

The dispatch fee paid by the customer at the time of booking is collected by TyrePatrol247 for dispatch and platform services. This fee is NOT deducted from the technician's service charge.

The customer pays the technician directly and separately for all work carried out. The dispatch fee and the technician's service charge are two separate payments.

3.5

Removal from Platform

TyrePatrol247 reserves the right to remove any technician from the platform, at its sole discretion, for any of the following reasons:

  • Repeated customer complaints regarding quality of work, pricing, or conduct
  • No-shows or excessive cancellations after accepting jobs
  • Failure to maintain valid public liability insurance (minimum £1M cover)
  • Unprofessional or unsafe conduct
  • Non-competitive or misleading pricing
  • Any behaviour that brings TyrePatrol247 into disrepute

Removal decisions are made at the sole discretion of TyrePatrol247 and are final.

3.6

Technician Responsibilities

Technicians are solely responsible for:

  • The quality and safety of all work performed
  • Their own tax obligations and HMRC compliance (including self-assessment, VAT where applicable, and National Insurance)
  • Their vehicle, tools, equipment, and tyre stock
  • Any damage or injury arising from their work
  • Maintaining adequate and valid insurance at all times
  • Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations

TyrePatrol247 accepts no liability for technician earnings, job availability, business losses, or any other financial matter relating to the technician's independent business.
